Summer is all about relaxing and sipping on a refreshing drink. Last week I had the best peach sangria while at dinner with a friend, so I decided to come home and make my own version.
1 bottle of Rosé. I used a Syrah Rosé by Tobin James because it was what I had on hand.
1 cup of sliced peaches
1 cup of raspberries
1 cup of sliced strawberries
1 lime sliced
1-2 cups of champagne- this just gives it a little kick, but doesn’t make it very carbonated.
1/2 cup of simple syrup
Make the simple syrup using one cup of sugar and one cup of water. Set aside and let cool. Slice up the fruit and mix all of the ingredients together once the simple syrup has cooled. Place in the refrigerator overnight. It is ready to serve the next day. You can add more simple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste. Pour over ice and enjoy!
